FAMILY HISTORY

 

Michael and Margaret O’Donnell lived in Kilcar, C. Donegal. They kept a shop on the Main Street, the building of which still stands today and is located next door to Kilcar’s general store, Centra.

The couple had thirteen children, seven daughters and six sons, one of whom, James, tragically died at the age of twelve years old. Many of the children went on to have their own families.
